Why OpenAI Won’t Compete in the Hiring Market

Recruiting candidates seems like a natural fit for AI, so it’s no surprise that many in the industry are wondering: will OpenAI eventually enter the recruiting space? In a recent post, my CEO addresses this critical and often-asked question.

Recruiting is a high-risk, highly regulated field with complex subjective variables that general-purpose AI models currently can’t fully handle on their own. At the same time, Salesforce is moving 500 support employees into jobs focused more on AI and hiring fewer engineers. On the flip side, they’re hiring more salespeople to help sell their AI products. This shows the company is shifting how it uses its workforce to match new technology trends.
