Resource Action

Tech giant IBM is set to cut around 9,000 jobs in the US in 2025 with a significant portion of the affected roles expected to shift to India. Job cuts have been confirmed in Raleigh, North Carolina; New York City and State; Dallas, Texas; and California.

Domestic Manufacturing "Renaissance"

Schneider Electric announced that it plans to invest more than $700 million in its U.S. operations through 2027, with some of that money coming to Texas. The money will go toward manufacturing expansions and creating more than 1,000 new jobs, with roles such as next-generation manufacturing professionals, engineers, developers and technical analysts.

“Tariffs very strongly work”

South Korean auto giant Hyundai on Monday announced a multibillion-dollar investment in the U.S., including a new $5.8 billion steel plant. The plant, which will be based in Louisiana, will create 1,300 jobs in the U.S.
